    Make it a Mocktail!

    Put on your mixologist hat and step behind the bar - it's mocktail hour! Put a sober-curious spin on a classic or invent your own signature non-alcoholic cocktail using a four-step formula.

    A good formula to follow is 4 parts base, 1 part sour, ½ part sweet, and a garnish. For example, use 4 ounces ginger beer, 1 ounce lime juice, ½ ounce honey, and a lime wheel to make a Mocktail Mule. Here are some ideas to get you started: 

    Base
    4 parts

    Sour
    1 part

    Sweet
    1/2 part

    Garnish
    As needed

    Coconut water

    Cold brew coffee

    Dealcoholized wine

    Fruit juice

    Kombucha

    Sparkling water

    Soda

    Ginger ale

    Ginger beer

    Tea (steeped & chilled)

    Lemon juice

    Lime juice

    Grapefruit juice

    Cranberry juice

    Pomegranate juice

    Tart cherry juice

    Apple juice

    Pineapple juice

    Orange juice

    Honey

    Maple Syrup

    Ginger beer

    Simple syrup*

    Infused simple syrup

    *Simple syrup = 1 part boiling water with 1 part sugar (or honey). Let sugar dissolve and cool mixture before using.

    Citrus wheel or slice

    Citrus twist

    Muddled fruit

    Dehydrated fruit

    Mint leaves

    Basil leaves

    Rosemary sprig

    Thyme

    Cranberries

    Pomegranate seeds

    Crystalized ginger
